Two JWC students proudly represented their school at the Citrus Valley FFA District Show on Thursday, January 22, 2026, held at the RGVLSS Showgrounds, earning top placements in the Light Cross divisions.
Andria Silva competed in the Light Cross Breeding Gilt Show, where she earned 2nd Place in Class 17 with her hog, Rosie, weighing 171 pounds. Andria’s dedication and preparation were evident as she confidently showcased her animal in the show ring.
Ava Reyes also delivered an outstanding performance in the Light Cross Market Hog Show, securing 2nd Place in Class 20 with her hog, Petunia, weighing 154 pounds. Ava demonstrated determination, responsibility, and pride throughout the competition.
Both students’ achievements reflect their growing knowledge of animal science, strong work ethic, and leadership skills. JWC extends heartfelt congratulations to Andria and Ava, as well as appreciation to their families for their continued support.
