R.E.A.D.Y. Program

Restoring Elementary Athletics' in Donna's Youth

R.E.A.D.Y. is a brand new free program that is starting up at Donna ISD. This program will concentrate on sports instruction for 4th and 5th grade students. The community of Donna, does not provide very many after school recreations for kids, so we would like to offer this to our students. All fourth and fifth grade students will be given the opportunity to participate in supervised athletic activities after school for 3 days a week. During this time, they will be getting quality training in several different sports throughout the year to help lay a foundation for future sports participation. The R.E.A.D.Y. program will take place every week after school three days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:15pm- 5:30pm at your child’s campus.

Students from the R.E.A.D.Y. Program attended the 2023-2024 Kickball Tournament. For the month of December, students learned the sport of Kickball and applied their skills in the Kickball Tournament held at Donna North High School. These students played their hearts out and won both games (8-7 and 9-2) making them KICKBALL CHAMPIONS!!! Way to go Coach V, Mrs. Vento, and JWC!!
